IM A NOOB AND NEED HELP!!

i have had LOMAC for some time now and have never got on to playing online..untill now. I have tried to play online and it says my version does not match the game i am trying to join and so i was wondering if someone could help me and tell me exactly what i need to do to start playin online!

If you have made significant mods to your game- UNINSTALL it and delete the leftover file in windows' explorer.

Shut down unnecessary programs & services.

Clean, scan & defrag your hard drive.

***From here on- I am ASSUMING that you do not own the game called "lock on gold"***

Reinstall the disk. This will bring you to version 1.0 or 1.01. Doesn't matter which.

Head on over to http://www.lockon.ru . Register, Purchase, and download version 1.1 "Flaming Cliffs" Follow purchase & downloading instructions CAREFULLY. Don't rush.

SAme place- download the patch to "FC" version 1.11.

Install the flaming cliffs add on

Install the Flaming cliffs patch.

Get hyperlobby at http://hyperfighter.sk

Install, and create a callsign. Again- follow directions. Don't rush. (step by step) (http://www.s77th.com/modules.php?name=Help)

If you are in the US, and prefer to get a CD of the "FC" add on- you can go to http://www.naturalpoint.com . A good place to go anyway, as flying without a Track IR is....... looney. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif Naturally this means you have to wait for the cd to arrive.
