Lerning magic

Sorry I am clealy being dumb.

I have a lvl 3 hero and when I select him it shows no magic available to learn.

but when I select my lvl2 hero there are two spells available (as I have the first level of the magic tower)

Now my lvl 3 has 3 magic points and has the dark wizard profession.

The lvl 2 has the knight profession. What are the criteria to learn magic?

This is what it says in the email about magic:

So I would think I have the right criteria with my lvl 3 as surely Dark Wizard is a magic career?

I'm an academy player so I don't use dark magic, but Priest spells and Summon spells.

I had the same problem with one of my heroes. All the requirements but no spells show up in the list. I think the hero was already in town while you build the mage tower and this don't refresh the list of spells. I think the next time you return to town the problem is solved.
