game won't start

Hi all. My problem is that Far Cry just won't start. It just freezes on the screen with Jack and Valerie. What I noticed is that when the settings are changed to low, game will actually starthttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif However when I change them to high the problem persists. And the thing is that I don't wanna play it on low couse here are my specs:
AMD 64 3800
radeon x1900xt 512
1024 Mb RAM
asus m2n32-sli deluxe
WD 250 GB hd
I would appreciate any suggestions. Thx
P.S. I tried updating to 1.40 and it didn't help. On 1.33 it's the same.

I think I have a similar problem to yours. Check out the topic I made here (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/170106891/m/9361027235).

I talk about a specific setting that is causing trouble, you might want to mess around with it and see if it is in fact the same problem.
