the pictures that have apples in them hold down the right trigger when viewing them to get a fullscreen view of the picture as well may help

If you live with the folks, don't do it with your parents in the room. Many figures in those paintings are nude.

Nonesense! Your parent's want you to do something other than play stupid video games just show them that and say "See, ma, its classical art of the Italian rennaissance!"

If you have other problems with similar puzzles in the game, it might help to know that after so many failed attempts (i.e clicking randomly) you'll get a button that says 'Hint'. When you press that button, Shaun will say something and help you out.
