An IRC channel on Gamesurge.net has been created in order for the people of the SvM community to chat about random **** and try to organize good games, instead of the wait in the lobby and hope someone decent joins.

To join the channel using an IRC client, such as mIRC or b1tchx:

1) Open client
2) Type /server irc.gamesurge.net to connect to the IRC server
3) Type /join #splintercell to join the Splinter Cell channel

If you don't have an IRC client:

1)Go here (http://www.gamesurge.net/chat/)
2) Type in /join #splintercell

Once you are in the channel, you can type /nick myname to change your visible name.

Have fun.

Side note: This channel is free of any clan or country affiliation. I would be more than happy to let anybody from anywhere or any clan help run the channel, if they can be trusted.

And please speak English in #splintercell, as it is an international channel.

It's much easier to just ask anyone in the IRC channel if they are up for games than asking people individually on XFire. Some people may want to play that aren't on your XFire, but are stuck looking for a team to play against.

Plus, it doesn't really hurt to idle in IRC, does it? mIRC takes up a whopping 1mb of memory...

i had trouble logging in at first with mIRC but it was because when they asked for server name i was putting in /server irc.gamesurge.net. all you need is the irc.gamesurge.net

btw, the irc channel is kinda fun too so everyone give it a try.

You're right, it is a sticky.

I did not know of this existed, but coinsidentally it's the same channel on the same server. Gamesurge didn't give me any problems when I registered the channel, so I guess the channel Rhoulette registered remained vacant for 2 months or so.

I'm connected to Gamesurge, EnterTheGame, and Quakenet at any given time on one mIRC client.

Just use the /server -m command to connect to additional servers.
