Alright, a day and a half after purchasing lock-on I find I have spent more time trying to squeeze out an acceptable frame rate, then blowing up tanks or splashing bogeys.

I went through the readme, and i've been running "end it all", but even after setting EVERYTHING to the barest of minimums...I wind up with 7 frames per second in blue sky without any other aircraft or objects around. Airbases? Mountain Ranges? Furballs? Suddenly my stuttery lo-mac turns into a slideshow. (BVR is a must with this performance)

I'm making this topic because my computer is above minimum specs, with updated drivers, and as I said end it all killing off uneeded applications. If i'm having this problem, I'm sure others are.

*specs*
P4 1.7Ghz 512MB Ram, GeForce3 64mb, Win XP. 60Gig hard drive (20 Gigs free).

So if anybodies got some advanced tips, please fire 'em off, I'm sure I'm not the only one who could use your help.

And just for anyone who hasn't read the readme,
DO: Update your video card drivers, Defrag your Hard Drive, and don't forget that the "cockpit" section of the "options menu" has features that will affect performance too.

.somebody with mad computer skills take over.
