I'd really like to see this for GR3!

Ever wondered why some of the most popular MP games are so popular, even though they are ummm... well, you all know what they are?

It is because they have Linux server versions available for download with out having to pay for the retail version... any ISP can download the Linux server version and run it on the gear they already have. They don't have to pay the high costs involved in running a Windows based server.

UBI would see a staggering increase in PC game sales if they made the inclusion of a Linux server version part of the development plan... GR3 would be everywhere!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

ive made this point for over 2 years again and again.

I hope ubi do it this time, although what with their involvement with xbox and microsoft these days im not optimistic

Yep, I've said the same thing for as long.

I don't understand how UBI's marketing team can overlook the importance of it... then again... no, nevermind http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Ubi might want to think about this feature if anyone sees this. If it is popular it has linux servers.

Linux support is 100% needed.
