Just wanted to say that l have been playing silent hunter 3 and 4 for a couple of years now on auto settings, just point and shoot.
About a week ago l decided to make the effort and learn to use the manual settings.
My first port of call was these forums and subsims where l found fantastic detailed instructions on how to manually target ships.
I have now experienced the best week of gaming in a long time, all thanks to the great community who support the game and each other.
I have visited many forums for many games and l can say the silent hunter community is by far the best and most mature community by along shot
