So the Game Developers Conference is going on right now in Europe and I was really hoping to get a good look of Ghost Recon: Forgotten Soilder; but ummmm no. Great Job guys.

Money is tight especially in this downturn and I'm changing my spending pattern now, as I can no longer afford to keep buying games at release price.

BF3 looks amazing. Love the way it's only 1-2 bullets to put down an enemy soldier. Love the realism look, kinda reminds me of the old GRAW E3 vid. The one that the final vid looked nothing like lol.

Anyway definately pre-ordering BF3.

In my eyes the real GR sequel is coming out in out this April (Socom 4) everything about it looks amazing and isnt set in the future.

Yes BF3 will be a purchase for sure. GR:FS has just been moved to out of my must buy list.

Did you guys ever think that there is likely a good reason it is absent from this conference? Maybe they've made some big changes and are still hard at work on this game.

I understand they are probably busy working hard on this game. But seriously when was the last "official" info we have had. People want to see what this is looking like not here that its delayed over and over. Keep in mind when this game was supposed to be released and then to have a demo shown...? Now we get nothing but speculation. They could have given us screenshots, another Demo SOMETHING

Battlefield 3 will be THE multiplayer game to own this year and probably next. All the real multiplayer action will be in BF3 matches. Yes we will probably get a new Call of Duty and yes it will probably outsell BF3 but all the gamers that want something more than CoD's run and gun, die and respawn, meatgrinder gameplay will be on the battlefield. That's where the real teamwork and depth will be. Huge maps, large teams, vehicles, squads working to take objectives, and the best technology in the industry via the Frostbite 2 engine. Single player, coop, 24 player multiplayer (64 if you are on PC), BF3 will walk all over every other shooter on the market. This year's CoD will play the same as previous entries. Oh sure they'll have some new guns and rework the perks but it will basically play the same as before. BF3 will be pushing the gameplay and the tech of FPS forward.

Basically GRFS did not compare to whatever other shooter was on the market so they decided to nearly completely overhaul it. Mind you at this point in the game the changes made are probably just cosmetic in nature, give or take a few major changes here and there. The only way to know for sure is to ask how long this game has been in development. I think at the time that it was announced that it was 2 years in dev But I am not sure.

BF3 Looks like the next big thing in shooters. However it needs more game modes in my opinion.

i need a tactical shooter injection and socom 4 might give me that high!

Why would they? It isn't THEIR problem.

They can't talk to us, at all. That is apparently corporate policy now. Not that they actually TELL us that either. They don't tell us ANYTHING.

As far as the bean counters are concerned, the fans are about as important as a pile of dog dung lying on the floor. Less actually. They would get someone to clean up the dog dung.

We will not get diddly squat until AFTER the game comes out and maybe not even then. After all, Ubisoft's games don't NEED marketing now do they?

And some ppl. dont like the idea to put cloaking into multiplayer.
And me too, evry body will be cloaked and you cant shoot other players, because you cant see them, and they cant see you.
And, they will be hiden' and you cant find them.

I cant belive, some NOOBs plays multiplayer games (CS, COD,...GR).
they cant shoot, they cant aim, they cant do anything, but they are cool, cuz' when he will have a headshoot,.... :| he will do a party, hes the MASTER of the game.

Thats what is in my mind, and sorry for telling you that, but thats the true.
