Not sure what you mean by "night mode".
If you mean night vision goggles (NVG's) that allow you to see in the dark - there are none in Lockon so you cannot do it. Don't be confused by some Lockon Movie Makers who make it appear that there are NVG's in Lockon by using clever movie making tricks of making the screen green.
If you mean flying at night, then you make your own missions using the Mission Editor. On the briefing screen you can set the time of the mission. It defaults to 12:00 middle of the day. you can change it to whatever time you like to make it morning, afternoon or night time. If you set then time to catch the Sunrise or Sunset, Lockon looks really beautiful!
