More climbing

I've yet to figure out how to get over the catacombs. I can bring the humvee around
near the entrance, and run it easily up the bank, but that is a kill zone.
However, at the end of the River Level, I found that instead of going under
the rock bridge and around to the last Merc camp, I can stay in the river
and go to the right of that trail. Up there is an easy access to the top
of the ridge .. a bit of a walk ... over the last Merc camp. Don't even have to
use sniper rifle. Just toss rocks and they run around looking for me, but
I'm high above them, and behind them too .. right over the uplink antenna,
and all along that ridge .. fish in a barrel. The one I would really like
to figure out is the "jeep run" in the Swamp level. I've read the other posts,
but I can't get it to work. Generally takes me 2 or 3 tries because the rockets
don't aim very well. I have to lead that chopper in a weird way to hit it, and
if I miss, might as well start over. I understand there is a way to walk that
path, and then go back and get Valerie. Fine with me.

Check the "Mountain Climbing" thread and find my posts on "Catacomb". I drew out the proper route. The same for "River: as for "Swamp" you'll also find info on climbing out and leaving Val, long enough to clear out the area for the ride.

I have .. a bunch of times. You just say you did it, not how. One hint was
you went up from the river level? I'll try that. Another picture shows a path
up the leaning stone .. I've tried that dozens of times, and it don't werk.
Must be a different leaning stone. If it is the one I think it is, I wonder
why jumping the humvee right beside that point doesn't work. The jeep goes
up there easily because there's a long straight run at the bank if you take
the jeep down the slope from the Catacombs entrance. I can even land the jeep
on top of the wall if I come at an angle, and that is the long jump you
mention.

I havn't been ignoring you. I can only occassionally post, due to some Server Error bug on this board.
Let me know specifically what you'd like to do, and which level. I can post detailed instructions... if this forum is working for me!
