let us replay the story mode with other outfits

i think it would be great to replay the story mode with the shadow armor outfit for example. the suit is so symbolic for sam fisher, and yet he doesn't wear it once in the entire game. it would give some people motivation to go through the story mode one more time.

You know, this is something I just cannot get: Vic has access to pistols, body armor, and a PORTABLE EMP BOMB (wtf, where would he get that?), and yet he doesn't have a single god damn wetsuit on hand anywhere? I mean really, why wouldn't he have access to something like that if he has access to EMP bombs?

Again why ?!, Sam doesn't need it any way in Conviction, beside it would make zero sense for Sam to walk among civilian wearing wet suit, yet again as i said before he doesn't need it this time, he is no longer a splinter cell he doesn't need it at all

I agree. And to answer powerslave01, Vic has his own PMC. So of course he has access to those cool stuff. You don't watch the cut scene between levels do you?

While it could be said that guns and body armor are easy to get (pending, I guess it's feasible in this case), the EMP bag is ridiculous. Did you see the other EMPs in the game? Those only go off once, Sam's goes off 3 times.
And yes, I watched the cutscenes. Also, Sam should in any case be avoiding civilians.

When trying to remain undetected, yet in the open, a head to toe ninja looking suit doesn't work well.

i'm not talking about all the levels. of course, he couldn't have the suit in kobin's mansion or iraq for example. but for missions, where he's infiltrating buildings, why not? in my opinion, it would look so much better than the standard clothes he's wearing all game long.
