Can't get into servers/ Only a few pings show

Ok this is really annoying the **** outta me. It has always been the case that when using the in-game server browser, you can't get into a server unless the ping is showing or you use the direct IP address. Not all pings showed, so you could just right-click the server and refresh and then the ping shows and you could get in. Well now since 1.6, a LOT less servers are showing their pings (like only 15 servers), and when I right-click a server to refresh it, IT FREAKIN DISAPPEARS!!!!!!!!!! SO there's now no way to get into servers without pings because I don't know all their IPs. Isn't this happening to everyone else? I am not using a software firewall. I have a cable router, and it's set to respond to pings on the external. I am not blocking any outgoing ports, and I shouldn't have to open any incoming ports, that would be ridiculous. WTF UBI?

The refresh problem has been discussed before. Can't do anything about it.
Here is what I suggest. If and when you get the server you like to show up, add it to your favoites. Now go into your filters and click on show favorites. Now when you refresh, it will just refresh your favoites and they can't disapear.

this is UBI we're talking about- they can and DO dissappear! LOL. Thanks for the idea though.

I meant that they can't disapear if you use this technique. I realise that they do resort and get moved so that you can't see them on your current screen anymore.
