I don't really think they need to let you purchase a bigger friends list... I think they should just make it bigger in the next update.

Of course, I already have a list full of people I never play with so I don't need it to be bigger but I can see why you would.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I'm sure a larger friends list would be a welcome addition to many. Though I'm not one of them, I've got mine topped off at 71 right now. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

I would however like to see more BC games soon, really how long has it been since the last BC update? I want to play the Otagi's and Phantom Dust again.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Pick a day when you're not feeling particularly sentimental and clean house. If you choose correctly (I have), you won't miss a single player (I don't).<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

That's what I normally do... In fact, that's what I should do again one of these days.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

A larger friends list would be nice, though as JB has pointed out. There would be issues with that as well.

My list is generally fairly full. With many good friends, inside and outside of this community. Though at the same time, I can understand your issue. Sometimes having to make room for others, isn't always easy.

As for the gamerscore. It would be nice to see, something more for it. Then again if they offered something more, it could also have drawbacks as well. Some gamerpoints are very hard earned achievements, yet others...almost feel like a giveaway and a better balance would be required.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Exchanging achievement points for MS points is an idea that I share with you. A cool concept that will never see the light of day, unfortunately. The game publishers would probably have to sign on to it and offer MS some kind of stipend to make up for lost revenues. And why would they? For example, EA's not going do it unless the points you get are redeemed towards one of their products. There's no way to keep up with redeeming points awarded by game publishers...what a logistical nightmare. Accessory and software sales as well as microtransactions are MS's only money makers. Consoles do not see black until several years (if ever) into its life cycle. I know MS isn't hurting for money, but they still have to turn a profit. If everyone didn't have to have a piece of the action, then I could see this working.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I love Starburst.

Still, I totally support the idea of expanding the friends lists. That would be a big help so people don't constantly have to rearrange their lists. Also, the idea of turning Gamer points into Marketplace Points would be a nice way of rewarding gamers for their efforts. Definately a nice idea.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I just go by the rule, if I don't remember who they are or why I added them, they're off my list.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I know what you mean, Calyber. I get requests all the time, and I'm constantly having to purge my list every other month or so. The first ones to go are the ones who haven't been on in a long time. There are a few diehards that I hold on to, people that I've known for a long time. But yeah, a bigger list would help tremendously.

As for the points, it sounds like a good idea, but like has been pointed out, certain games practically give away points (ie EA's early sports games). I've also seen where people will team up just to exchange head shots and other kills to rack up achievement points.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The points for points trade should be feasible (though isn't, because of M$) because a couple downloads really isn't any skin of M$'s back. You figure they pay a liscencing fee for whatever downloadable content they can sell and then thats it...its probably a blanket fee (guessing here...) and therefore would cost them theoretically nothing to give some out for free.

Also, Caly, I like the way you blog (like me). A complete rant with a vaguely coherent main idea that you lose in the last paragraph to finish off with some delicious gibberish and then a prober ending.

Ricky Bobby FTW!

The friends list is only 100 because of the original xbox. It can't support more than that. So we won't be able to hold more than 100 until the old xbox is shutdown. Which is a long way off. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
