...and just have a couple questions:
1. Does Far Cry (for pc of course) have online multiplayer and if so is it popular? You know, are there quite a bit of people on?
2. Is this a good game?
3. Is there anything else I should know about anything related?

3. Yes, make sure you patch properly. You can go straight to 1.3, then 1.31, 1.32, and 1.33. Also, learn the tools of the game well, binocs, radar, implant tags, alert color coding, alt firing modes, vehicles, objectives and their indicators, etc. AI is very good in sp and increases with difficulty level, especially accurracy of their aim.
Once you've thoroughly mastered the sp campaign, have a look at the many maps and mods written for the game. There are maps that are much tougher to play than the stock game and offer great terrain, variety and innovative use of the editor. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

do not use patch 1.32 if u intend on playing multiplayer,just use patches 1.3,1.31,and 1.33

MP is a matter of taste, but many people have played everyday for the last two years. Popular is another question. There are no where near the number of players that play CSS, but a dedicated close-knit community. More popular in Europe than in the US.
2. I agree with Six_Gun - one of the best single player games of all time.
