Hi all
I bough retail version of the game S7 - but after installation and all updates I have revived this msg
"This CD-key has been used already"
I'm waiting for more then a week to resolve my problem by ubisoft customer service, and good know how long this may take.
Maybe this is some stupid firewall/server/connection problem related? Did anyone has the same msg like me? Is the any way out of this?

Was the game box sealed? Almost looks like somebody copied your key.

I'm assuming you only installed the game once, and got the error on the first try?

It really sucks for you then, because it does look like somebody installed the game with your game-key.

Definitely hold on to the receipt. Hopefully ubisoft will give you another key.

Not suggesting you havent already tried it but if not...make sure you aren`t using a zero for the letter o,and an 8 can look like a B.

Failing that I would be inclined to return it to the store you bought it from and tell them the problem, they should exchange it for you

I'm not "Sunday gamer" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
I have check the key for sure is correct http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
And the msg was on first try.
I was twice in shop and they point me to ubisoft support - if ubisoft will not resolve in one more week I will give back the game and find something elso to play.
But the most irritating is - you can find on the net cracked version of S7 and be able play locally ... I pay and I'm not ...grrr.

I wasnt suggesting you were a "Sunday Gamer" but I have had the self same thing myself and had to resort to a magnifying glass in some cases to read what it actually said.

indeed.. those pesky CD keys can be tricky..

I will just say, if you managed to install it, either partly or fully, but had to remove it or re-install, make sure your using the same ubi.com account, someone had this issue last week, and it was due to him trying to 're-use' the key, after it had already registered on his first account.

Not saying that's the case, but worth checking.

Support are really the only people who can help, so you will have to wait for them.. since they are the only ones able to re-issue a key but since you have been struggling for a week - I would suggest taking it back to the store, and either asking for a new sealed copy, or a refund.

There is nothing anyone on the forums, can do to 'fix' the issue, other than offer advice, as has been done already.

Tru - Cd key can be in some games tricky - but in this case msg is nor wrong key but Cd-key used alredy.
I do have two ubisoft accounts - but of course i have try to log in on both - no success.

I will try one more full reinstall including deleting profile folders and then last resort ... I will return the game to store.

If you have two ubi accounts, make sure your using the same one, else it will say it's in use.. on the other one.. [assuming that it installed]

If not - try the store http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Do you get the error message from the Game Launcher? Or from the Game after it starts?

If you paid for an item and it doesn't work, then yes the store should take it back. You've tried contacting the company, they can't help, so back to the supplier with a faulty product.

I had this exact same problem with the first dvd I bought from EBGames.

It obviously had been installed by someone before and returned for a refund. EBGames offer a 7 day refund for all games.

They gave me a fresh copy the next day and that one worked. I didn't even need to re-install it just enter the new CD key.

On the other hand I still have a lot of problems with crashes. Almost every session after anything from 5 minutes to 1 hour the screen shows a patchwork of low rez textures and freezes up.
