Hacks on SvM!!

I was browsing around the games today and I found an unbelievable sight. This guy was placing thousands of mines everywhere. I don't know how he was doing it but he promised to send this other guy the hack. I have their names but I won't disclose it on the forum. I also have a screenshot but don't have a hosting service to put it on. Is this hack already known or new? or some sort of glitch/exploit?

There are some kinds of hacks available, but I can't disclose how/what/where.

I don't care about that I just want to know if its already known or a glitch or something? My primary concern is that I don't meet someone using these hacks in game.

The chance of finding cheaters is 0.01%. so 1 in every ten thousand. Unless you happen to find the number 1 player on PC, because he speedhacks all the time *note to mods: didn't say name*

That's not news to most of us.. Got to get over it. Play with a host you can trust, Blacklist players you don't like, and you should be fine.

There are some hacks for SvM, but they're so blatantly obvious that you don't really need to worry about someone pulling a fast one on you. Also, most of these guys stick to ranked games (thankfully), and the more reputable players stick to free games.

Also, many of the hacks require that the person be hosting.

You are right... but the chance on knowing someone than has a Hack is more like 75% for a regular player and sadly it's enough to get a hack.

I must add than since I came back from D.A. there is a huge ammount of new hack that are out on the streets... the thing is that they are so easy to «reveal»*

* I mean it's easy to see if someone got inf-equipement or inf-Life or Kills-you-with-a-elbow-hit or Pass-Walls or Run-Crazy-Fast

I did cases the only thing to do is kick or leave or have a fight about who is the noob

Ranked games are where its at.

I can't remember ever joining a free game and finding someone hacking, (Glitching, yes, but not hacking.)

However, the past few weeks, i've been playing ranked games out of sheer boredom and I've ran into more hackers then ever. Everything from One jump killng you, to uzi fireing speed on the rifle. Whats sad, is when you beat them anyway and they ban you from the their server. AWEOSMENESS!!!!!

Sorta hard to see anything but theres about 9 mines on the wall and if i panned the camera some more, theres even more on the others. Though I feel there isn't much need to question my honesty or intent because I've been a long time member of this forum and player in this community and there are several members who can vouch for my integrity, but anyhow here is the SS.

Anyways back on topic, I guess you are right about the not having to worry about it after all I only saw it this one time out of all my hours playing SvM. It was just a slight shock to me because I've never encountered a hack or at least someone blatantly displaying it: he had the whole office twinkling in mines and beeping in synch.

They had punkbuster in PT. In CT it seems to be gone for some reason.

Well this is the first i've heard of hacks on SC games.. i never thought anyone would find any point in coding hacks for a game with such a small community.

Also PB does not guard against exploits, only third party programs (ie: hacks.)
Having PB in SvM wouldn't solve a thing.

And i have yet to grasp the reason on why Ubi wasted money running pb on R6:V.
A game with so little hacking potential, and no ranking system so there would be little point in hacking for score.

Well,I was just playing with a gay named 'C.heate.r'that had some kind of hack that makes you unable to finish your obj.For example in cafe(museum)It got stuck at 00 seconds and never finish. :-(
