Has anyone been able to figure out why Ubi won't adress the simple smoke grenade issue? Heck, just make them all but worthless to use against the AI and I would be happy. The concept behind throwing the magical smoke grenade of invisibility into a room and walking in to pick everyone off baffles me, and just does the "Kooky" dance on all of the realism before that point. Is this even on the minds of the gaming community, or is this just one thing everyone plans on overlooking?

Oh, and I understand a lot of people's frusrations with the game, Ubisoft, etc. But, give them credit, it is a very good game for its gerne, heck, the best. It has its lows, but the weapon damage, physics, are all on par and surpass anything else on the market. I'm comparing this mostly to Americas Army, as those are the two biggest name is " FPS Modern Combat Simulators "... It's not as bad as it seems people, a day in AA would make you leap and bound in the direction of the RS & AS.

...but, yeah, the smoke thing REALLY needs to be adressed, it ruins the co-op play completely.

If you don't like smoke don't use it. If you want to play coop that way look for no smoke servers. There are plenty out there.

Well said. People use it waaaaaay too much.. smoking every 2 feet. It's meant for cover.. not for cheap easy kills! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

no smoke on our server

i dont like smoke myself, flashbangs are my thing, but i think its ok to have them. i dont like them cause they lagg, and along with the terros, i cant see a gash darn thing! smoke is infact helpful, like smoking the garage door in island estate. i think the smoke is the least of the problems with this game, it shurley doesnt top the cheating issue.

I prefer teargas personally...like when your team goes and starts throwing smoke to blend in...toss a gas nade at em http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

If the ai fired a few shots at random into
the smoke or tossed a frag when they saw it,
that would fix it. One of my favorite
moments was during a 3 vs 3 team match.
They tossed smoke to cover an advance
over a hill and I just raked it with
an m249 killing all 3.

Smoke also makes a nice feint in multiplay.
Toss it and then go the other direction.

Or use it with thermal to snipe the snipers
who forget to take thermal.

I'd like to see more ai on patrol.
Especially on tango hunt. At least
1/3 of the ai should be moving at any
time. Once they hear gunfire, another
1/3 should move towards the battle
while the last 1/3 take aim at the
nearest entrance or retreat until they
find backup.

Has anyone noticed that the last ai
alive always walks straight towards
the nearest teammember? Why not program
that into 1/3 of the ai to occur at
the first sound of gunfire?

Off-topic: does Gospic have infinite ammo?
I'm pretty sure I've managed to have him
fire at least 10 clips at me. One at a time
I moved my team onto the roof and peeked
at him from around a corner until he started
firing and then hid while he emptied the clip.
I lost all 8 before he ran out of ammo.

New suggestions

Tangos should fire a random number of
bullets instead of their entire clip when
they go into 'rock and roll' mode.
I suggest 10-20 with an occasional
second burst of 10-20.

Tangos should run away to reload and not
stop until they bump into a buddy.
