Thanks alot for getting back to me. I personally have waited for game like Stoked to take over where Amped 1 left off at 10 years ago, since other iterations of Amped strayed away from the main game engine simulator that set it apart from every other title created. I've sent Bongfish an email regarding some issues people have been noticing in the game and want to send it to this team as well. I want to see this game do better THAN SHAUN WHITE SNOWBOARDING for the crap TARGET/UBI SOFT have pulled with exclusive only content/mountain buying from Target only. Its a shoddy gimmick to pull on gamers! Here are the emails I sent so it might help address important issues concerning potential gamers that have seen the latest videos......

I really am in love with what this team doing with Stoked. It looks like a NEXT-GEN Amped 1 sim, but many people are saying movements are a bit slow and physics seems flawed. I kinda agree the speed does need to be increased to make fluidity and flow in the movements. Videos of a person playing trying to do 3-4 tricks in middle of a rotations is giving a really bad impression of the game. I do hope later videos show this being worked out and frame rate is much smoother and fluid. Some have said rotations have even stopped in the air and reversed direction and thats far from realism. Someone needs to demo 1 trick in a fluid smooth complete rotation in the next set of game play video. Also some are commenting on floaty like air time kinda looking a bit like "moon gravity". Maybe a bit too much hang time for realism? I do think the rider should come down a bit faster and not just hang up in the air too long, even if its long drop down from the side of the mountain/cliff. This team is claiming this game is going to play "like a movie" so laws of gravity should not be defied to be actual realism.. IF these things can be improved on just a bit this game will be sooo sweet but if not much gets improved in these areas of concern, many will be turned off. I want to see nothing but the possible best for this game and I know it can NOT be perfect in the end, but I do feel there is much room for improvements/polishing. I think this only does this team justice to point out the flaws being noticed and LISTEN to what real boarders are saying having noticed. If this team is already aware of these issues then when the next set of game play videos come out the physics should really shine through to what they look like now. Don't brush this off, if your going to fill Amped 1 shoes you gotta make it flow smoothly. Thanks for listening to a concerned gamer who really loves snowboarding games. It is my favorite sport to play for a video game

The next email is in regard to the impression its ALL back country with not many objects to grind/trick off.......

Some have been commenting that ALL back country is not going to be that appealing for replayability. While I know this game is trying to stray from resort parks, I do think some objects like ramps and metal rails are needed but not to the extent like some kind of snow park has. I don't know if there is or isn't but having scattered objects around will indicate its not a pure back country game setting with very few objects to trick off or grind. Just passing it along some think there won't be much of anything to trick off of in this title. I know your giving it your all being the underdogs so to speak, but minor tweaks here and there will make this title rise up to the caliber Amped 1 used to be. Thanks for hearing me out as where some companies just ignore their consumers remarks/advice like 2ksports does!

I do appreciate these concerns taken to heart so that the game will turn out to be the real surprise result of the snowboarding genre and sets a new standard for other future titles. Oh yea I would like to know are there plans for future DLC content on XBL? Amped 2 was supposed to have content but only ending up having 1 extra mountain when there were empty spaces for about 4-5 more and I was quite disappointed of abandonment. Thanks for listening and passing this along to the dev team

TRUST ME I'm making sure they KNOW OF ALL FLAWS in Stoked so that it really shines and NOT to be too pure with the back country. IF they listen to this you can thank me later for having an impact in the end result

Thanks Snowboarding 101, just trying my best that's all and hopefully when people notice things and point them out they are not overlooked by the developers and creators.I just want a really sweet snowboarding sim that gives you the feel its real like Amped 1 used to be.

I mean taking the grinding/jibbing for instance in Amped 1 there is no meter, you ethier lean more on the nose, tail or sides of the rail of your board that corresponds with the triggers USING the weight of the boarder to determine where to distribute the weight when riding a rail to keep yourself balanced on it. I don't snowboard but I somehow know this is the REAL way to jib a rail even though its a game and not by some cursor that you tap back n forth instead and tapping a cursor back n forth doesn't teach how you would distribute your weight evenly on the rails.

Not saying too this replaces the real thing at all, but I think some games don't give right interpretation of how YOU would be doing it FOR REAL. That's the difference, just like TH is not like real skating but Skate is without a doubt REAL as I used to Skate when I was a teen so I should know about that. I'm just a person, even though its a video game that likes real interpretation of sport games, especially alternative sports. Ever since I was turned on to TH by a buddy and then saw Amped I knew from that day on snowboarding games were my thing out of all sport games I'm just really into and never bored of playing. Just think someday they will have VR hologram snowboarding games that will be so close to being REAL you will feel like actually being out there when it could be the middle of summer! What an experience that would be http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/metal.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

dude i just have to say.. you know.. i loved amped 1! but the rail system sucked and i think there's no question about that. it looked totally unrealistic and didn't feel anything like real jibbing either. I mean you couldn't do a proper fs boardslide, and certainly no lipslide. nosepress, and 5-0s were a joke etc etc i couldn't stop telling you tricks that kick so much *** even on a 4m straight funbox when done right.

I would be stoked if a game could actually bring the jibbing element of snowboarding on the screen. I mean give you that feeling that ****ing up on that little downrail hurts a lot. and the claiming after you just stomped a perfect 270 out.

but yah i can tell you neither stoked nor sws will get even close to that.

what we would need is an urban snowboarding game. parks and streets. but yeah that's just my personal opinion.

OK well its not perfect, but better then Amped 2 and 3 from what I can see. I have tried a lot of different snowboarding games since I discovered Amped and none used shifting weight as a way of balancing. Your right about the nose press, but the tail press is not too shabby looking. So I understand what your saying but no control scheme can be perfect, but imo this one was better than most I've tried and not 100% realistic but close to it
