Every time I get a bug or match box which I already have the games says I can trad it for extra 500 in funds. I have collected a lot of extras but no funds why?

The 500 funding you receive from cashing in duplicate memorabilia and insects is correctly crediting your account. It now happens immediately when you find the memorabilia/insect. It used to happen only after you pressed Cash In, so you're just not noticing it, but it is working.
