My game crashes..weird way

I installed the game, and I go to play it..i start a single player custom game..and while its laoding its fine..but the second it has to load up the map, it freezes..then shuts down homm5...

It's not weird.It's quite frequent. You have a under specs video card.

Ok, try this:

1. Download the hex editor at this website:
http://www.chmaas.handshake.de/delphi/freeware/xvi32/xvi32.htm

2. Next, find the .exe file (the one with the HOMM5 icon) on your hard drive and open it using the editor.

3. In the editor, under the "search" tab, locate this line:

51 56 8b f1 8b 4e 08 2b 4e 04 8b 46 28 c1 f9

The first element (51) has to be changed to c3. Just clicking on the box and typing "c3" should suffice.

4. Save over the .exe file

5. Run the game
