Anyone know where I can get an authentic, wooden m44 stock? The original for one of my nagants was destroyed after it was run over by a car...

yea it was me http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif O well, since its historical value is zero, i guess I have no other choice but to get a synthetic stock and an EER scope and shoot some deer... poor me http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Well, look in publications such as Shotgun News or something and I'm sure you'll find many listings for the stock you need.

Pretty careless gun handling that caused it to get run over.

Hey, no problem dude. I'd be p****d off as well if I was that careless with a fire arm. Good thing it got run over before some kid found it huh?

What I'm wondering is how it got on your driveway/street without you noticing...

I had it in a soft case and i left it on top of the trunk. I went to get my keys to open the door so i could pop the trunk, and i backed out. I guess the gun fell off the trunk as i backed out.

I know someone who did that with a Laptop.
(no, it wasn't me)

oh, btw nagant, where do you live, what kind of place is it? Is it urban, suburban, rural, etc.?

I live in a suburb of Miami.

Hm, I was going to recommend a shop close by if you lived near, but actually I couldn't think of one that would have a good selection of older guns. There is a gun shop up in the Plantation/Sunrise area that sells some older guns, but I'm not sure if they have just the stock though... Perhaps you don't want to drive all the way up there just to find that they don't have what you need, maybe if I go there anytime soon I'll ask them for you.
