Meh, as much as I love the gauntlet addition to the game, I wish it wasn't the cover of the Limited Edition.

It seems I'm in the minority, but I don't really like the LE cover art that much. I think I like that one we had in the other thread better. I thought when they said special packaging it would be like an extra package outside the regular box and art. I'd rather have this wrap the normal box/art (like an extra box or something). But this whole free upgrade thing is awesome. I'm definately going to go pre-order once I get a chance. What retailers is this for?

A sound argument. It's not like Ubi has to mail or distribute all the extras. Other than maybe set up a server in Europe to download crap, shouldn't be too difficult.

There's something I'd like to bring up, on IGN when you type "Prince of Persia Limited Edition" in the search bar there's no PC version listed there. Is POP LE only available to PS3 and 360 owners?

'Cause I'm a PC gamer and I would be seriously disappointed if that was the sitiuation. I even pre-ordered POP before Ubisoft announced it would be upgraded to LE.

Also, does anyone know why the pre-order shipment date of POP has been postponed to all of 13 days after the PS3/360 dates?!

Ubisoft sent me an e-mail mentioning the special pre-order limited edition.
It connected me to a GameStop URL:

The PC version ships later than the other two versions of the game ... and the other two versions may be picked up at a GameStop.
But the GameStop Website makes NO MENTION of the Limited Edition.

Ubisoft, please clarify. I consider that either a deceptive practice (talking about it one place (such as the e-mail that I received), but where it really counts [where you pay $$] there is no legal mention)
or that someone at GameStop accidentally omitted some critical information for the moment.

If you go to GameStop.com, there is now the option to pre-order the Limited Edition (it mentions that pre-ordering automatically upgrades it to Limited Edition for free)

So I went to GameStop a few days ago to buy The Force Unleashed, and while I was there, I asked them about it. The guy behind the counter wasn't sure what I was talking about, but then his buddy said they'd gotten the e-mail about it. So I asked him if it was safe to pre-order just yet and he explained that it's not them that will be upgrading; it's Ubisoft.

So he told me that the reason why some GameStops don't know about it is because they're not the ones that are actually responsible for upgrading. Once the game ships, Ubisoft will take care of it all.

So I went ahead and pre-ordered, hoping that it won't screw up on me.

No no no,You PS3 doesnt need to read the cards basicly you will get a leaflet type card on that will be a code which you need to readeem useing your PSN. Theres no actuall slot where the PS3 reads the cards. besides if you have a 60GB which reads SD Cards but thats another thing.
