I've been meaning to start this thread for a while. What are your favorite scary and/or bad Halloween movies?

The good...

My wife's favorite is the original Halloween, we watch that every Halloween night.

Personally, I think some of the best horror flicks are some of the older ones. House on Haunted Hill, The Haunting, The Third Man just to name a few.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I'd have to say the entire Nightmare on Elm street series. not all exactly horror, but Freddy Kruger is a hell of a character. Evil Dead, the Original Dawn of the Dead, Ginger Snaps and a bunch more. I'm a horror junkie<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

i always watch dead alive....nightmare before christmas is great, but i've watched it a million times. so i know every word. (i'm still seeing it in 3-d this weekend.)

but yeah, we watch zombie movies all during october (me and my film nerd friends) and we made up a game... in dead alive, when lionel uses the chainsaw on all of the zombies toward the end,we play "the spaghetti-o challenge". you watch all the gore and eat spaghetti-o's, of course. and usually someone gags and can't finish.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Candyman - great choice! I love the guy that plays him, he's a nice creepy actor. He also plays the mortician in Final Destination.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Not a movie, but the Simpson Halloween specials are not to be missed.

Ah yes! Some of the classic Simpsons Halloween specials are great. When I was little, I also remember watching the Garfield Halloween special almost every year.

As for Halloween movies. I usually just watch whatever is on the Scream channel, Halloween night.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

If you want to watch some scarey movies just take alook at some Uwe Boell movies. The directing and acting are soo frightening I'm traumatized for life.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
