I had the same problem, the trick is to milk the time clock for all you can. First off, build as fast as you and get a stable empire before you promote your knight or wonder around. Then send the gold 30 seconds before the time runs out(This insures you bet the red enemy). Hopefully now, you have at least 2 weavers and a sheep farm plus one battalion of knights so you can beat the wolves. Beat them and buy the sheep. Once again, it's a race against the clock to make the shirts in time, but it will happen. While you are making the shirts, go claim the territory with the fish and build the huts. Remember, all you need is 8 raw fish, so if the red enemy comes and attacks you after you have the fish, don't worry about it, you'll win. Hope this helps.

I've tried (and retried) that level, at least, three times and still can't seem to get past it. I keep failing the part when it gets to making the clothes as once I do get to the point where I can build soldiers and then send them up to fight the wolves, it seems to take forever for the sheep to get back to the pasture. Then, for some strange reason, I never appear to get any wool=no material for the weavers to do their work.

I've also managed to try and build the outpost, but never seem to have enough soldiers to defend it after it gets built (I start on walls and then get overrun by the enemy) so it keeps falling to the enemy and I can't seem to recapture it.

I agree with a previous poster in a similar thread who commented on it being a "nasty surprise" after the last two missions and it was a similar mission with the timing issue that was with the previous Settlers game, as I recall, as to why I stopped playing it for a long while (still never got past that level).

There has to be an easier way of doing this.http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

You don't have to win every challenge.

I lost the clothes but won the others and still got victory.

Build good basics. For food, wood, iron and stone.

last minute for 300 gold -

Do the thief mission and take the enemy wool.
clothes is a little tougher I beat the wolves with Marcus but I had to kill a wolf and leave to regain health etc.

for fish make sure your outpost is upgraded to stone. Put archers on it and 2soldiers with add. Archers. About 3 waves of enemies got me but they had to go back for torches so I reinforced.

2 fisheries for 8 fish. - I also built trails to travel faster.

Yeah, even the mission text is incorrect. It states "win 3 out of 4" but I passed the mission just winning two. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

<LI>Gold - Sure, who couldn't win that one.
<LI><STRIKE>Clothes</STRIKE>- No, I couldn't kill the wolves in time.
<LI><STRIKE>Fish</STRIKE> - No, the AI blatantly cheated!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif I controlled the territory, but he magically produced and sent the fish before I could.
<LI>Parts - Yeah, that was easy. I actually produced 60 parts because I thought I needed to send 10 siege weapons (1 weapon = 5 parts), so I produced 10 of them and then couldn't figure out why the send button was still disabled. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif
