After I try to fly through the quick fly or training, I get the screen and it loads. Once the music stops and the game has been fully loaded, I either get a blank white screen or the game shuts itself down and my computer returns to my desktop. What is going on?

I had similiar problem, and needed to update my video card drivers. Then it worked .
Give your system specs with your problem and If I can help in any way, I will...

I don't know how to tell what video drivers I have, or if there is a later version, since I updated them for CFS3, but here is what I do know.
I have the following:
256 MB RAM
Usually around 60% resources free when about to play
2000 Mhz Pentium
40 Gigabyte memory
five power fans
Radeon 8500 LE

Tell what operating system you have, Windows98? XP?
To see your drivers in your graphics card, RIGHT CLICK -"My Computer", then left click "Properties" "Hardware""Device Manager", in list click on "Display Adaptors" Double click on "Video card name" " click "Properties" Drivers".
write down the driver#. Check the web site of that card and look for update drivers and see if you need to.

Sounds like you're using Windows 98 or ME.
Does it work if you create a mission for yourself in the Mission Editor?

I'm using Windows 98. Im still in the process of trying to find where to update my driver for my vid card. I currently have 4.13.01.9062 version. I have not tried the mission editor as of yet.

Please also note that I was able to fly in the demo, although it had a slow frame rate.
