I have the following rig:
Core2Duo E6700 @2.8 GHz
2 Gigs RAM
GeForce 7950 GT
XP x64 Professional

I can't even start the game.
Every time I do it crashes to the desktop.
I updated my drivers to the ones recommended in the readme and still nothing. I also patched the game. And it's not the fact that I have a x64 OS because when I ran the Configuration Utility it said that the game should run fine on my pc except that the CPU wasn't at minimum requirements(which is bull since the E6700 is much faster than any p4 at 3 ghz).

Vegas doesnt recognize Dual cores as a qualifying speed, unless one of the processors is over the listed amounts. so a 2x 4200 wont work. etc etc

Some say it utilizes them... some say it doesnt. I know with my system
AMD 4200 x2
2 gigs of DDR2 800
Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS 640meg

I get anywhere from 15fps - 125fps in a game. I have tweaked everything known to man, Im on a fresh format, and everything is up to date and brand spanking new.

I have given Ubi a week to either announce there are problems or fix them, and so far I havent gotten a word back, so on Saturday if there isnt anything up, Ill be returning my copies.

Rumor has it that the MP side of Vegas is drastically easier on the PC than Single Player... but I have yet to be able to get into a MP game. Before someone says its my internet connection... I have a Verizon Fios Line, 15 megs down 2 up.

This is ridiculous...
How do they manage to screw this up?
Oh and congrats on the FIOS line btw...it's not available in my area yet.
