*Possible SPOILERS!!!*
I know that GRAW 2 probably has been discussed before, but I didn't want to bump any old discussions. I just got this on Sunday, I have been playing mostly MP but got about halfway through the campaign. I played all other Ghost Recons, yes even island thunder + very first one. I didn't exactly like where the series was going with this "advanced warfighter" thing, I liked the stealth/strategy aspects in the others, but I must say I am thoroughly impressed.
When I first saw the MP's graphics and experienced the gameplay I thought it looked like an expansion pack like the other GR's. Then I played the SP and it shocked me, it was amazing. Great explosions, nice smoke effects, destructible environment, the cool mule, cross com 2.0 - see teammate's/drone's/mule/all other vehicle's screen and control them from there.
This is a true sequel, it has extremely exciting missions. In the mission where there are mercenaries, the helo gets shot down and the pilot is taken captive. Then you go on this wild car ride and everyone except you on your team dies http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif Anyway I thought this was the BEST mission in all Ghost Recon games ever.
One of the first real sequels I have seen done by Ubi lately GOOD JOB!

What do yall think about the newest installment in the Ghost Recon series.
(I know that this probably should be in the ghost recon forum but they would probably think I am stupid or somethin)

It was a great game, but seemed more like an expansion to me. I already got all the of achievements.

I love both GRAW 1 and 2. My favorite missions are Unpleasant Surprise and the one with the cemetery, can't rem the name. I really like the Coop. Yes, R6V is also one of my favorites, especially Thunt.

It was way better before Ubi made it accessible to everyone.
Finally after almost 6 years, I have made 4000 posts.

RSV had better aiming and simpler controls, as well as more capable teamates. Although the single-player is questionable in RSV, GRAW 2 didn't really stand out to me.

I lost almost 2000 posts when Ubi decided to clean the forums and after a forum crash. I would probably have close to 6000 by now if neither had happened.

lemme see I was at nearly 4400 posts when I went back down to a little over 1100 because of a forum crash I would have like what now nearly 9000 posts right now if it weren't for the crash

POSSIBLE SPOILERS!*********
Unbelievably sweet. I just beat it on the medium difficulty not 2 hours ago. I already had beaten it on easy, but I wasn't satisfied. I had to to the harder difficulty. I did. I beat it. Amazing to say the least, it was sooo cool. Every explosion made me want more explosions, so I did just that.
The ending blew me away. For a second there I didn't think Mitchell made it out alive, then the pilot said he was going home. What a way to end the game, stop a nuclear explosion, get in the way of the EMP counter explosion to deactivate the launcher. Stunning, UBI - You did a really good job on this one, I hope you can do the same w/ conviction.
Overall I would give this game a 9.5 out of 10. Right now my gamercard says I haven't gotten those achievements and all of that but it is because my live was shut down. I was doing all of the campaign off of live so it hasn't updated.
What do y'all think of the game's ending?

I played it on Elevated Risk, initially, just in case I didn't like the SP, but I do. Anyway, ok this may sound girlie..hehe...when the "event" happened I gasped, and called out "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Scott, NOOOOOOOOOOO." I nearly cried, cause I am really not sure on one thing. I don't want to say as to not ruin it for others. If that ending had happened to Sam I would have just rolled over and died right there. I liked the ending because it was a cliffhanger. But I can't give possible outcomes here for spoiler reasons. But I like Scott and want to hear him say "Back on me" and " Go, Go, Go" again!!
