Vegas freezes my xbox 360

I have been having two problems:
First, the game freezes my xbox 360 while playing multiplayer at LEAST 3 times a day. It is not my xbox because this has never occured in my other games. Also, it is not a heating issue since I have used the xbox 360 intercooler and still experienced freezing. I also heard that people have gotten new games and deleted their saves, without any fix in the problem afterwards. So UBISOFT, what the heck is there left to do!?!?

My second yet less serious issue is that the Team Sharpshooter Achievement does not seem to unlock when I earn it. I have had the most kills on the winning team ON RANKED at least twice and still no achievement.

Please fix these things as soon as possible!!! Vegas is a great game and should not be held down because of these annoying problems.

I would love to see at least one response from Ubi about the freezing issue. I'm willing to bet that there will be a patch with the new map pack, but we'll have to pay for the map pack just to make the $60 game we own work right.

Now iam really peed off, been getting freezing for a while now, but living with it as it happens in crud games, but ive just thrown my controller at the wall as was 36 seconds from winning as defenders and had nearly 30 - 10 (Kills - Deaths) best so far then the bloddy thing freezes........iam so F$£$ing mad.

Straight answer, is this a glitch in the game, CD/DVD or my hardware.......need to fix it now cos this is slowing my rank up...

It makes me want to go out and buy YET another joypad, due to frustration, its a good game, almost as good as black arrow, but unless the freezing gets fixed then i'm off to play elsewhere

This fixed my freeze problem.. a. Locate the System section of the Xbox 360 Dashboard.
b. Select Memory, select Hard Drive, and then press Y to view the device options screen.
c. On the Xbox 360 Controller, press the X button, press the X button again, press the left bumper, press the right bumper, press the X button, and then press the X button again.
d. You will be prompted to confirm system maintenance, select Yes by pressing A.

Thanks for that I tried it. I also am having a problem froze twice within 15 minutes. Was in a gun fight twice, one with a spas 12, the other with the MG36.

i also freaking freeze, this is the best shooter game ever made, but if they dont wanan fix it, fine.
i guess im better of playing gears of war agian.

You might want to know, I actually think my xbox is broken. So ignore my message. But I hear that if you put bottle caps below your xbox it helps.

dude, that is the stupidest thing ive ever heard, come over here so i can #@!* slap that $#!* out of you... people mess around with noobs and tell stories...
like today someone put friendly fire on and said..when game startes quickly press B button twice then start to get 3,000 points. causing you to throw a gernade and pause, so while ur paused you cant move and your gernade kills u and a teammate, lol, that was so halarious.

But back to the main topic, have attempted to play it a few times this week and its crashed on every game.......god dam annoying. Good job i got GRAW2 and havent completed the R6LV in game yet.

mine also does, or did this, tried cleaning disk blowing out 360 with compressed air, all kinds of ****, now the stupid disk won't even allow me into multiplayer, locks up and screen goes black, had this game for three weeks and now all its good for is a freaking 60 dollar frisbee thanks ubisoft your games rock but your customer service sucks!!!!

found this phone number for ubisoft tech support in usa, there are different ones for other countries. anyway here it is (919)460-9778 gave me some story about how its the game hosts fault that it freezes, not theirs...... maybe you will have better luck.

I know what you guys are going through, my game freezes online too. I sent a message to microsoft about the problem and you what them dumb ***ks told me. To either buy a new game or a new console. I told them that they were out of there minds if I was going to buy a new game or console. If I buy a brand new game I exspect the game to work perfectly. But of course not rainbow six vegas, and it had to be my most favorite game to ***k up, you know? Well anyway I did sent a new message to microsoft so hopfully they give me good answers this time, and I'll give you guys a heads up when I do.
