I think its much easier to win in multiplayer if you play as mercenaries, their guns(especially AN-94) are much better than R6's. R6's special vision ability and the black uniform cant compensate its weak firepower

Actually (This might be off topic a bit) one of my clan friends asked me playing last night for the first time (for him) if there is any armor bonus because MERCS are wearing regualr shirts and R6 has tacticle clothing and some body armor.?
Just wondering, I told him no that would be ridiculoius.

This is another reason why this game should have been console only. It's just to arcadish.

If you think its bs, that simply means you dont play lockdwon multiplayer a lot.
AN-94 simply owns R6 and every other gun in the game.
As for the R6 body armor, from my multiplayer experience I believe both sides have equal armor protection within the same class.
