I like the CV, and the sit rep screen is cool, but honestly, I just cant find a reason to really use it.

Sure, Its easier to use the Sitrep than that damn Mini-Map, and since only 1 side can have a CV (And its usually at the begining of the game)
does anyone find CV's seriously usefull?

The last time I used one, the fact that I didnt have an EG or Riflemen in its place was what killed me early game...

I've won pretty much every game I've played so far with Command Vehicles. Being a traditional RTS player, I use Sitrep a lot more than anything else. In fact, I play most of the game in Sitrep. UAV is also very helpful in my opinion, not only for intel, but also to provide targets for your artillery. I pretty much always have UAV strategically placed to give me an early warning if the enemy is advancing on my position.

Hopefully they will make it so that 1 CV can be called in for each side.

Both sides can have a CV out, it just costs 6cp to call one in after the match starts.

CVs are good for distractions and defense of a spot until the calvary shows up. (You are gonna see a lot of that tactic when the Russians come into play)
They can take such a huge amount of punishment, they can effectively hold the line without firing a shot. The drones are pretty good too, just have them defend a forward unit and keep your CV in the back, same goes for the UAV.

i love the CVs. i use one everytime when i load out. the SitRep is great for keeping better track of all your units, the UAV can be positioned as an early-warning system to let you know when the enemy has begun their attack, and the drones are great against gunships. having your drones guard a tank or artilary squad adds alot to their battle effectiveness. so yeah, i use em and ive only lost once.

I can't play without one. I need the sitrep screen or I suck. It's way to hard to keep tract of all your units in standard view.

Lemme put it straight for you. If you are facing a skilled opponent and you have no CV, you're pretty much screwed. It's very useful for UAV's at the starts of the match, positioning troops, acting as a transport(killing gunships and infantry), force recon etc. I deploy it as one of my first 3 units.

dont know what demo ur playing but both sides can use the CV. You just have to equip it at the start of the match.

Also, besides SitRep, the CV gives u Drones which attack hostiles, and are seperate from th CV so the unit can attack w/o moving. Also, the UAV (which i dont know what exactly it does) that u can deploy, as well as the Drones, can guard a unit or uplink, by highlighting the unit/uplink while on the CV's command card.

So...How exactly do you get over the fact that you don't have an Infantry or Transport or Gunship in the spot which the CV is occupying in the beginning?

And how do you use these drones with voice commands, and what is the purpose of the drones? As I said before, the Only time I used one it lost me the game (Though that's probably beacuse I didn't know how to use it) , and I kicked the crap out of this one guy who was using one today

The CVs have pretty good weapons

Question! How do you use the UAV... I haven't figured that out yet, and how do you order your drones to guard something?

Oh, *to TheBigLebbowski* When I start out for units, I have the CV, Transport, and Engineers. At the start of the match, it lets me call a unit in immediatly and I deploy riflemen. They rope in quick and while I'm doing that I load up the Engineers to go somewhere else. Hope that answers your question. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

To use UAV recon and drones, you need to manually press Y or A using the controller, cannot be executed with voice command, just like the EFEC gunships' HOT missiles.

So, you would select a unit on the sitrep screen, select it and press Y?
