RUSE crashes at launch (PC)

When I click on the RUSE launcher the game instantly crashes. I don't get any "access violation" like others did. Here is the message

I'm running windows vista. Running it with compability to windows XP didn't change anything. My firewall does not block it (I checked) and I already reinstalled it and I'm having the same problem. This started on january 16th and I have no idea what could've happened. (I did install homeworld 2 but I doubt it interferes with steam games?)

same as me dude i dont get any error it just doesn't work i've given up trying to fix it after 3 months.

support couldn't even fixed mine, i knew more about computers then her,

the worst implemented game ever from ubisoft,very dissapointed it was so badly put together.

it just crashes on launch,

task manager says it "hangs" just normal hang error nothing specific works fine on my xp system with all the same parts must be driver issues i've tryed everyth ,xp compatibility mode doesn't apply to steam games.

i'd get u money back while u can dude.

i would find you my thread on here but noone replyed to it so not much point.

quad core QX6850
geforce 8800 gts 512mb
4gb ocz 800mhz

Well you see the game was actually working for me just fine until one day it suddenly crashed. I didn't change anything at all yet for some reason it doesn't work anymore.

even though its completely different it sounds like a similar thing if u dont get a error message. let us know if u fix it i've giving up.

Managed to fix it by rolling back my PC 1 week. I guess I messed up some files or something. Oh well I'm just glad I got it fixed.
