i've started this topic because i often visit this forum, i see people discussing game, i see people admire game (sometimes), i see people reporting bugs, asking questions and raging much more often than admiring the game.
and forum is very big, right now there are 35 pages of topic headlines in this branch of forum only and 119 more in technical issues branch. some topics contain 50+ pages of text.
so, subject:
homm6 released with too many bugs. no matter why it happened, we just have to admit the fact.
fact number 2: forum seems like a dump right now. huge unsorted dump of reports, questions, sometimes whine, sometimes rage, everything in one place.
imagine new player coming here to ask question/report bug or technical issue. he wont find solution for his issue in thousands of posts duplicating each other, but he wants answer, all of us want answers and solutions. i bet 10:1 he will create new topic or post his question on 150-th page of sticky FAQ/BUGLIST or similar topic.
so i ask you, devs: please create some system in solution center, transfer there all known bugs/issues and solutions (if exists), categorize it, set link to this system from forum. so people will be able to find category they need (example: gameplay -> campaign -> tutorial -> whatever) and check, is their issue described? what's the status? etc. and post something new if it is not described already. it can become much more comfortable for everyone.
i understand that im not the person you would listen, but i think that it will make things easier for both devs and community at the same time. hundreds, maybe thousands of people visit this forum every day and they post requests on already solved issues, report bugs that are already reported, just because its impossible to read whole forum.
we are fans, we want to help with fixing bugs, we want this game to be perfect, give us tools for it.
