I'm sure at least a few people know about the Mt. Saint Helens eruption in May of 1980, well, it might happen again (though smaller). Recently, there have been smaller earthquakes around the volcano and it's believed that a small eruption may occur. Well, anyway, I thought some of you might find this interesting; I know I do, I LIVE NEXT TO IT!!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif (Link (http://www.fs.fed.us/gpnf/mshnvm/) to Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument wabsite.)

I'm outside of the hazard zone, but still it would be freaky, all that ash. I wasn't born yet, (10 years not born) but my parents say that ash made life misurable. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

That's sad, snow is so fun. Ever since we got a sled there's been no snow here. But, we sold it in a garage sail. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

While I still have a sled at my folks place, It hasn't been used in 32 years. Talk about not getting to sled in a long time....
I am at the point nowadays that I hate the cold. I want all the heat I can get.

I hope y'all stay safe up there. All I remember of Mt. Saint Helens back on May 18, 1980 is coming back from the Heart concert and seeing it in the paper on Sunday morning. I remember it being pretty devastating

LOL>.. yes, it was WhiteKnight... lot of damage caused by it.
The weird thing is that I guess Hawaii's volcano erupted around the same time. And now, they are both active again at the same time.. kinda creepy... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif
