So, where is my Deluxe Edition Map and Heroes?

According to Direct2Drive, the Deluxe edition should contain lots of different content. Some if it I have gotten via a download (PDF/Mp3 etc), but the ingame content seems missing, mainly:

Deluxe Edition Includes:


1 exclusive map (Skirmish)
Heart of Nightmares
Exclusive Hero Yume
Exclusive Hero Sveltanna
Exclusive Hero Kraal
Exclusive Hero Aguirre

Exclusive Artifact:
Staff of Cleansing

Exclusive Artifact:
Staff of Asha's Eightfold

I only have one key exept my free month of H:Kingdoms, and that's used activating my uplay-account. I can not use this key for unlocking extra content, because it says the key has already been used.

edit: can't seem to have gotten any pre-order bonus either.

I bought the Deluxe edition through steam. Would also like to know how to unlock the deluxe edition items. Steam also only provides 1 cd key for the game. Are they suppose to email me keys for the dlc?

For steam; my deluxe items unlocked... Select "My destiny" in the main menu where you can select campaign or multiplayer and such... From there the second tab from the bottom left will allow you to see which heroes you can play as in multiplater and which destiny weapons you have unlocked. My Steam Deluxe version shows everything there from the start. Hope that helps...

I have similar problem. I cannot activate my deluxe bonus from D2D. The only difference is, that I got my pre-order item (sword and akasha). Seems its broken form D2D. Somehow. Dont know how to solve it. Trying support, but no luck so far.

Hi guys. I bought Deluxe edition from D2D.co.uk and so far i don't see any listed bonuses in game or Dynasty view in this matter :/ Maybe they gave us a wrong cd-key http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif The cd-key provided can be only used to register the game and can't be further used for unlocking exclusive content in the game menu....

edit: i see Akasha and the sword too, but no deluxe bonuses.

Having the SAME exact issue. Also preordered on D2D. I am about done with certain companies. Why is it the rule instead of the exception that day one failures occur.

have the exact same problem (ordered through D2D, I have Akasha but not the deluxe items).
Now I also chose the Deluxe version to support the game and devs, not JUST for items, but I really want my items as well indeed!

Same problem - got preorder items fine, but no deluxe edition items.

I sent a message to Ubi support like the D2D site says and the person told me that if I was able to successfully activate the game, that I have everything I should have.

I replied that obviously I don't have everything I should have, and attached some screencaps of my order confirmation and my (lack of) in-game items as proof. I'm now waiting on a reply back, although that probably won't happen until at least tomorrow...

If I were to understand what the manual is trying to say is that as you play further and progress, you will unlock and get the code for the extra Deluxe-edition content. Here it is written "Redeem this code in-game to unlock exclusive content", now read carefully, "Redeem this code in-game to unlock exclusive content", so as I said, for those who purchased Deluxe edition, as you play more and progress more some where in the campaign storyline, you would get the code in-game. That's how I would understand it. Correct me if I'm wrong...

ps: I have not play much yet in the game... so the above is my opinion and point of view, don't quote me...

ps: the artbook and soundtrack files can be found in the steam folder... search for it.

That is wonderful... Oh wait, it was clearly stated we got the game from D2D and not Steam. So really, that is completely wrong ( and I have even done a general search for that specific file name and it does not exist)

It seems that those of us that bought the game on D2D were sold half a game for full price. I honestly could care less about art books or soundtracks. All I want are the extra map, the extra heroes, and the extra items.

The extra/exclusive content thing is something else, it's not related to preorders or the deluxe edition. The preorder and deluxe edition bonuses are tied into your one and only game key, they all unlock automatically when you register your game. It sounds like D2D simply isn't giving out deluxe edition keys, perhaps they made a mistake with their key generator. Either that or some of you are trying to play offline while all the bonus items are online only.

The deluxe items should show up in your Dynasty and for D2D users so far they aren't there. So it is as if we got the regular edition.

So D2D finally replied and they changed my cd key which I used in the main menu and it unlocked the Deluxe content. They said it was a global fix so everyone who got it from D2D should check their keys again!

I just got e-mail from D2D support group (that fly thing). It has been fixed and I can confirm it. My D2D page has been updated with a new key. This one fits in and unlocks deluxe content as intended. Go to your d2d pages and enter the new code. Should do the job now.

I'm having this same issue, but I bought the game direct from Ubisoft. So far only pre-order content is available to me, not Deluxe Edition content.

I got my game from Impulse and I did not have to enter any key to unlock the deluxe extra's make sure you don't already have them. Make sure you are not here complaining for nothing the extras i can't figure out are the Pre-order extras because i'm about 99% sure you guys have what your looking for otherwise if I were you I would never use d2d ever again because they ripped you off and gave you all a regular version's of the game, the deluxe extras are part of the initial game they require no entering of any key from what I expirianced.

Well, I started this thread with the problems yesterday.

Today, after reading we've gotten new D2D-keys, I tried activating "exclusive content" again ingame - and this time it said "Exclusive item downloaded" (or something like that).

It unlocked the heroes and items at least from "My Dynasty"-page, however, I am still missing the exclusive Skirmish map, "Heart of Nightmares" - I cannot find this at all.

Yeah I missed it too, but Astasia told me: go to custom game, then select the skirmish button and change it to 'Scenario' and voila: the map http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
