A few questions about BIA

Hello. I have a few questions about the online features in BIA.

For one, I saw Tanks in the previews, are there going to be vehicles/boats/planes that you can use online? And also, will the online feature support the USB Logitech headset communication?

Looks really smooth and great, no matter what I cant wait until it comes out, it will keep me busy until Battlefield Modern Combat comes out.

if you're talking about the xbox, bf:modern combat is coming out in the next couple of months and bia isn't coming out around the first months of '05. so , you'll be actually be playing modern combat WAY before bia comes out http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

well, I remember the devs saying something about no vehicles in online play. They will most defintely be there for the single player. As far as the headset question, I have no idea... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

you will not be able to get in a drive the tanks...because foot soldiers never did that in real life....but you will "use" the tanks as ur fire team...u direct it like u would one of ur soldiers in a fight...tell it where to move and where to shoot...you use it as cover when ging down streets etc etc....

HOWEVER!, the devs did hint on being able to hop up on the back of the tank and use its machine gun...that hasnt been ruled out yet.

keep in mind this game is not going to be a go everywhere do everything game...its based on the actions of the 502nd durring the first 8 days of combat...its going to be very realistic...you wont be hopping in to fighter planes and tanks you will be a footsoldier incharge of a squad of other men leading them to the airborne's objectives for the invasion of normandy. if there was a battle that happend with the 502nd in RL back then. then its going to be in BIA.

Thanks guys. Well, no I was talking about PS2, Modern Combat doesnt come out until around next fall, august....and I read in I think it was either psm or gamepro(that is how I found out about this game) that for ps2 this game will be coming out in February.

F.Briem, if you are talking about PS1, i dont think so...lol. but yes, for ps2 it will be.
(Do they even make PS1 games anymore)? lol

I've got a little question. Will the enemy be easy to predict? I mean, will they always do the same thing over and over again. (depending on your moves too)

That happened in the Medal of Honor series, and it got me pretty bored after a while.

Hawkeye, I highly dought that the enemy will keep doing the same thing over and over again. The AI in this game is incredible. so no, i dont think that will happen...
but i may be wrong.

I know you say BIA is coming out for PS2...but all I see is the game coming out on the PC and XBOX only. Whats the deal??

Its being released for the Xbox, PC, and PS2 consoles.
