This is what I found regarding sb0 files using a general Google search:

".sb0 is a form of high rate sound used in the newer Ubisoft games. It is basically an Ogg Vorbis sound file and can therefore be played using WinAmp or a similar media program, although sometimes one must force a different sampling rate to hear it correctly. A number of tools are available for extracting sound from archived files such as the .m4b of Myst 4 or the .big of Prince of Persia 2. "

Source - wikipedia.

Hope that helps.

Anybody success in playing .sb0 or .ss0?
I tried changing them to .ogg but winamp and foobar2000 still can't play them.

Any suggestion?

Man, I wish they would release CD soundtrack...
TMNT music kicks major a$$.

Based on a Google search of '.sb0 sound extraction', I found something quick: you may need an outside program to convert the .sb0 to an actual audio file.
From the link below, people said that tools called RAD tools, from a BInK format, can be used and these tools are free for personal use. Check out the link below for other options as well since they have additional links of reference on it.

Thanks for your help, Speedyserd.

I tried what you suggested but I still can't make music files playable.

Here are what I know so far (I'm a total noob about this, TMNT is the first game that I bother to dig for soundtrack); .sb0 in TMNT is not an actual sound file, it is just a link to sound bank (.ls0, .ss0). So, it likes they fuse all music files into one big file and have links to each part of the file. I tried using tools made for Prince of Persia and Myth but they doesn't work with TMNT. No tool seem to recognize compression method used in .ls0, .ss0.

Too bad that I don't have any programing knowledge and people that have, don't interested in TMNT.

By the way, I emailed ubisoft a few days ago asking about TMNT soundtrack. They said currently they have no plan releasing CD soundtrack for TMNT. Is there any way I can change their minds?

In the mean time, I'll keep googling, see whether I can find a way to playback the files.

I don't know much either about programming and sound files, so that is why I do the Google searches. I'm sorry that the links aren't working too well with the extraction.
As for convincing Ubisoft to release the OST, I think if everyone who enjoyed the soundtrack got together and did a nice 'protest', then I think they could get the idea. But I don't know how these politics work, sorry.
And don't worry, there are other fans I'm sure. lol.

Hello, ibgormless

Thank you very much for the song. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Now, I don't have to play stage 9 over and over just to listen to Night Watcher theme.
