First of all, Lock On is a great game! I've been waiting long and hard for a proper modern fighter sim.

I've completed all the training missions just fine, but when i go Campain the problems start...

A-10: When I'm in ground attack mode with gun selected and flying in on a target the gun sometimes wont fire and sometimes puts just one or two rounds out... I'm well within range of the target... This is needless to say quite nasty when your playing with a Shilka...
I've completed the first Campain mission just fine, but when I try to fly the next mission the game crashes. I get a error saying "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error".

F-15: The training missions worked just fine, but when I try to fly the first Campain mission I get the same error as the second Campain mission on the A-10.

SU-25: In my plane things seem to work just fine, but my wingman doesn't appear to attack anything on the second Campain mission, even when ordered to. He copys the order and move in to attack, but does not fire.

SU-27: Again, things seem to work fine, but my wingman has suddenly become a "no violence" person and mostly tries to stay on my tail. He does not respond to orders.
I've also noticed that the Kub launcer near the airport seems to shoot missiles in to thin air and after a couple of seconds they explode. In other missions (other planes) they seem to work fine. (He said muttering to himself...) /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I've gotten the "transparent plane & cockpit" problem aswell, but only when I've accidentialy ALT-TAB'ed out of the game...

On exit I get the memory error some other people have reported. I've not installed any "No-CD crack" as some suggested might be wrong...

My OS is Windows XP with all patches installed.
I'm using the latest version of DirectX.
My display driver version is 52.16 (latest official nVidia driver)

for A-10's gun, you just need to change the guns rate of fire... i don't rememeber that the key pressing thing is right off the top of my head, just look in the options menu

I don't think it's the rate of fire, normaly the gun gives me a nice long burst, it's just sometimes it messes tings up...

Just for troubleshooting;

can you disconnect your joystick and wheel and see if the same problems occur? Also disable or turn off any software or drivers running for them too. Make sure the Task Manager process list is cleared out.

Know its a bear trying to fly keyboard only, but its only for testing to see if there might be an issue with joystick and wheel.
