Hi folks

It's May 1943 and the Battle of the Atlantic is in full flow and I am starting my 3rd patrol out of Bordeaux (12th Flotilla).

Just before I was negotiating the mine fields and nets at the mouth of the channel my able watchmen spotted another U Boat on her return from a patrol. Having the camera available I was able to notice that there were no crewmen on watch duty - surely a court martial offence?

you Running IUB. When i was leaving Kiel in early 1940 i observed a type II sub, which incidently had a watch crew, smash straight into the coast and subsequently destroy itself.

What's even more stranger, and yes I am running IUB, is that I spotted another U-boat but with a crew that looked like a destroyer gun crew - I thought it was odd at first they were wearing life vests but their arms were in the position of holding a machine gun! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif
