Okay, I'm going to nip this in the bud right now before it gets any further. Here's a few ground rules.

There will be NO name-calling. I don't care how much you disagree with someone, calling them and/or what they have said "ignorant" is completely inappropriate, uncalled for, and will not be tolerated here.

Keep your conversation within a single topic. There are currently three open topics on the subject of 2D vs. 3D in this forum. DO NOT create a new topic on this subject, we already have quite enough of them as it is. Additionally, DO NOT invade another topic with the intent of dragging your conversation into it.

Obey the moderators. The moderators are the arbiters of law on this forum. If we ask you to stop doing something, stop doing it. If you persist, we will tell you (not ask you) to stop, and warn that additional persistence will cause your posts to be edited. If you continue to persist after that, you will be banned. Period.

DO NOT air your dirty laundry in public. If you have a problem with a member, a moderator, or a moderator's decision, bring it up with them privately. Just go to "New -> Private Message" in the dark-blue menu atop each forum. Public arguments with a moderator will be deleted and you will be warned. Continue to argue after that and you will be banned.[/list]

While we appreciate that members will often disagree with each other, we ask that you be polite when conversing with others, as this tends to help diffuse tempers that might otherwise flare up. Think before you type. If you find yourself intentionally writing something to provoke someone, stop and think about the wisdom in posting it. We welcome all members to participate openly and freely on these forums, and we invite them to share their thoughts and opinions on the game as it approaches release. However, aggressive, hurtful, or inflammatory content will NOT be permitted on this or any other Myst forum.

To those who have already been spoken to for their comments in other threads, consider this a warning. I most certainly do not enjoy banning members from this forum, because an empty forum - while easier to moderate - isn't nearly as much fun, but I will do so if it becomes necessary.

Let's keep it friendly, folks. Thank you.
