I've seen this message on at least two forums, and I thought I'd pass the message along, since it tends to lay down some common sense ground rules for people.
You may notice topics where a person will pretty much say, "I have a great idea, but I need help with graphics, sound, level design, and coding." This sounds innocent at first, but if you examine this closely, there is one thing that is quite unfair to everyone else: they will offer nothing to their own project.
An idea is great, but putting that idea into action is quite something else, and that's the key portion to making something a reality.
Be aware, that you just shouldn't contribute an idea, also contribute product related to said idea, whether it be sound, art, music, final level and gameplay design, or code.
