H.A.W.X. Frequency Error

hi there just bought the game today it has installed ok the detection tool has said all ok but i am getting the same message which i did on the demo version can some one help me like to start the game the message is below

out of range
working frequency range
HF:30KHZ - 80KHZ
VF : 55 HZ - 75 HZ

MAX RES : 1208 X 1024

CURRENT MODE

HF 35 KHZ

VF 8.7 ZHZ

i have the same problem, full version and demo, my only fix was to place the game under compatlity mode

Are you on Vista at all? if so change the compatablity mode so it runs under XP then it will run

anyone got an offical fix on this as its stopping me from playing

You might try to start the game in other resolutions or windowed mode. You can do that by editing manually the following file:

My Documents\Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X\Profiles_settings_0.1.525.ini

For example:

[Video]
…
width = 800
height = 600
refreshrate = 60
multisample = 2
windowed = false

---------------- or -----------------------
[Video]
width = 1024
height = 768
refreshrate = 60
multisample = 2
windowed = true

---------------------------------------------
Valid values :

width x height : 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024 (basically the resolutions that you have available in windows in Display Settings)

refreshrate : 60, 75 ..

multisample : 0, 2, 4, 8

windowed : true, false

hiya

tried that and still no joy, im getting a dump file when i try to run it normally, im now running under Windows 7 (7057) and i have to run it in XP Service Pack 3 mode for it to run!
