Multiple ways to save games

This is not a big deal but I don't really understand the significance of being able to save games at an unlocked safe house. You can always save the game by hitting escape and doing a new save game or you can just do a quick save. I don't quite get the point.

I believe the save boxes seen in gun shops and safe houses are for console versions only, as they don't have the quicksave PC users have. I have no idea why they were left in the PC game.

Just ignore them.

Have you had the problem of not being able to save the gae by hitting f5. I am half through the game and now it does not let me save the game except at the dedicated boxes. Thanks.

Try saving only at the dedicated boxes anyway as it adds more challenge and consequences to the game which makes it better.

Yeah, the save boxes are the way the game was meant to be played. The only reason they gave the PC version quick save is because it's a standard for the platform. I guess they left the boxes in for those who would rather only use those.
