hi guys just finished sot again and wanted to share. that i think the music in the next pop should be an arabic beat with arabic tune (like in sot) but with a light rock influence, maybe a little bit rnb influence as well. but not too much rock or rnb cos it's persian so arabic influence should be more presented.
secondly i would like two moves back from sot...: 1) the counter attack in which the prince makes a weird jump en spins and attacks and makes a kick just before.
2) the prince spins around himself and slashed the enemies with his sword.

You allready have a really cool counter attack in POPWW. When you block your enemy's attacks, just press "E" and you will do a double kick at him and slash him with a sword. It's a cool move.
By the way about spinning slash. You remember that scene from Matrix 1 when neo is dodging bullets on roof top. The thing I am reffering to is how he bends himself. well you can do that and at the same time slash everyone arround you.
And my favorite move is. E E T T E E (T being my alternative button for primary attack). It's much easier to do it that way cause those keys are close. Do it with 2 weapons and you will see some great goodies. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Hey DangerPaki, why should the music be presented with more of an Arabic flavor??????????????? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif After all, it is the "Prince of Persia" series and as a result they should try to input more Persian characteristics into the game. Its sort of counter intuitive when you think about it. Furthermore, the vary fact that the music is Arabic in SOT has been widely criticized by soo many gamers, the fact that you are actually advocating it is somewhat weird.

Let's just hope the music, either be Persian or Arabic, let hope it be in the veins of SOT more so than WW.

It should have rock influence in POP3 just like it had in WW. It goes great with the action. I don't care about ambient music being persian, but it just doesn't cut it for action sequences. That's where rock comes in and it should stay.

I don't mind rock... It would be great with SOT Rock type of music more so than nu-metal one in WW... This is my opinion of course. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

^huh?
Something like in SOT but mixed with Rock with that has some Arabian/Persian Elements. Nothing like the Nu-Metal/Heavy Metal stuff that was in WW.

Yes, I agree Zapages, the SOT soundtrack was very carefully and beautifully done, I loved that SOT rock and middle eastern music http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
I loved some part of WW music too, but it tend to get so annoying when it blared in your ears at the wrong times http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif
There was one part of the WW soundtrack that almost resembled to SOT, it was in the library, after eliminating all enemies and starting working on the climbing-on-beams-puzzle....that was nice http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

exactly zap's fully agree with that. that's what i meant as well... and i don't mind having some small parts where the rock overwhelmsthe arabian/persian during a fight. but it should be something rare in the game.
by arabian/persian influence i meant.. like a tabla as the beat in the music for example or other arabian/persian instruments with arabian/persian like tunes. but have a couple of cords of rock in it as well...
so both the influences (arabian/persian and rock) should be in the music all the time.. with small parts with overwhelming rock during fights.
