hi i just bought this

hi im new jsut got game today so i havent got any experience neither have i read through the forum apart from the bit at the top about speculation about no longer supporting game ..

I just bought it and it doesnt work?

I went into muliplayer and seen 5 servers
and only one was playing survival.
yes one.is that normal?

so

i went in and had a quick game the first thing that happened was this constant repeating noise that nearly blew my ear drums whats that??


then i flicked on my lazer sight and its more like a light-saber lol ,,, what use is this?

the gun i was using was so undetailed it was like somethign u could download for a 3d program in the free sections of soem 3d sites ive been on..
i have skined a gun better than what i seen .

So anyway i go in yeh im duckin n diving ready to go fight ...

then ...... WAM hey where am i ??

wow ahhh wow have i been flashed?

oh no its my desktop.

so whens this getting fixed guys ? lol

i thought this games been out for like 3 months allready?

i get the felings its because the games to much for my memory?

i have 2 gigs tho and a 7900 gtx card .

i feel sorry for you gusy that have had to put up woth this for 4 months ...
i guess the patch will be out soon right?

ROFL ....the stories we could tell. I feel your pain though, The real shame here is the game is very fun and has some great potential. That potential I fear though will never be realized.

Yeah you just said it "potential". I still have the same hopes that one day it will at least be playable for 30 mnts without crashing to desktop.If they don't fix it I will make sure to download my own full demos of the games of future titles from UBI. That should make up for me wasting $$ on this Vegas pos.

Plenty of people already doing that and, the sad thing is... I can't say I blame them as UBI has brought it down with the lack of support for PC Games.

GRAW is a perfect example, it took them (GRIN) almost a year to catch up to a playable game that should have been playable since launch date, now, everyone will be careful when GRAW2 comes out... at least, I know I will http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Definitely not your memory - I'm running it fine with 1G [or was that sarcasm?]

Personally I find this a fun game, particularly in SP [even though radically different from the original series, which I played from the first Rainbow Six to RvS]. However its bugs and lack of PC optimisation seem to have given many people a very negative impression, which is a shame.

For the game to have any longevity the devs really need to deal with the bugs/optimisation issues and, above all, sort out the multiplayer side. Looks like a few people in the community have put a lot and time and effort into working out the issues and it's about time UBI reciprocated.

Of course there are also those who simply don't like the way the game is designed and just want to bash it on the forums. Don't see how that helps anyone, but if that's how they want to spend their time, I guess it's their right...

You appear to be running VegasScan 1.2 Randolfphe. There is an updated version out with a new expanded checklist.

-People look like they are having seisures at times while using cover mode.
-Cover mode failing to work. (You are in cover mode, but can't pop out to fire.)
-Trying to climb a wall and your guy stands there to think about it. (Happens with ropes as well.)

And more that I can't think of atm.
