I just deleted my other post regarding this...
Most of you already knew this ages ago i guess,..But, iff you are having difficulty reloading torpedoes..
*Setting your engine to Flank speed does NOT secure from silent running!
U have to tell your Helm-dude to "secure from Silent running!!"
I just found this out lol...like i said, many of you know this already, but just to be sure ... ^^

Seems to me that in one of the previous games, if you were on silent running and called up an engine telegraph command of any kind, it automatically went back into normal running routine and you could hear the difference through your speakers...?

exactly...Not the case here,..except for the fact that the crew keeps whispering when going at Flank speed (lol)..
But i also thought that selecting anything but "kleine fahrt voraus" would lift the silent running...Not the case in SH3 though...

I’ve also noted that if you’re in Silent Running when you Save and then close SH III, the next time you Load that Save-point, when you give order to resume from Silent Running, it will actually re-issue the S.R. order â€" so you need to do it yet again (issue the order twice) in order to be Resumed from Silent Running.
It took that one a few times to sink in, and cost me some valuable time, so â€" perhaps just a good thing to bear in mind, also… http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
