First things first. Im Sorry, I know this isnt the right forum to post this in, but since many MystIV players know much about the rest of the series And the fact that this is the most active MYst-series related part of the Ubisoft Forum I though I might ask in here as well, sorry.
And the Question:
realMyst is in real time 3D, right?
And you can move the camera freely where you stand (just like in Exile and/or Revelation), right?
What I've heard is that you even can move freely (non fixed locations), is this a fact? and if so, is there any way of turning this function off (turning fixed locations on)?

you can move around freely. it's in realtime 3D, like Uru, as opposed to pre-rendered 3D, like Riven/Exile/Rev.
why would you want to not be able to go anywhere? that's the main feature of realMYST, and it's stuck on.

not being able to "move around" would make it very much like Exile and Revelation, and I've come to like that "engine".

realMYST was a proof-of-concept release of Uru's engine... a massive public beta test, if you will. As such, it is a completely different beast than Exile and Revelation, and is a complete break from the fixed exploration perspectives of the other Myst games. If you disliked Uru's freedom of movement and are not a fan of it in general, realMYST is not for you.
