You get negative renown and could get your boat taken away when you get back to port. You get busted!!

When you return to port they throw you in the brig. You will get this message:
"At the best, you'll stand accused of gross incompetence, at worse, high treason. The worst of it though is that you'll never see the deck of a ship ever again, let alone command one. Unmercifully, your trial has been scheduled to begin after the cessation of hostilities. Nothing to do now but linger in the brig until Japan decides to give up."

Hey, that's the massage i got after trying out what would hapen when i sunk a friendly. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif But i did not know that you'd get that message after sinking only one ship. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif If you don't know hat i'm about,... i like to do things thuroly and managed to sink an entire friendly task force. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif so i think that message would be in place! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
What i am however wondering is that i never manage to acomplish this same feat when i find an enemy task force... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

I guess I'll just have to refit anywhere other than my home port. It was only 1 little coastal freighter. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/1072.gif

I guess after the war I am going to spend the next 20 or 30 years or so in Leavenworth. Have to look on the bright side of it all.....Free room and board.

Yes, but there is another side to prison you need to consider. Linky (http://new.music.yahoo.com/videos/CledusTJudd/My-Cellmate-Thinks-I'm-Sexy--2143347)
Enjoy the next 30 years.

Yee Haw!!
I aborted my last mission and returned to Pearl and they gave me a medal. A whole bunch of promotions and medals for the crew and new radar for my boat. I think it might have something to do with all the tonnage I we sunk. One little 1800 ton freighter is a mere drop in the bucket when you sink 200 K tons. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/halo.gif
Probably I will never get a promotion and will remain a Lt. Cdr for the rest of my career. But that IS better than Leavenworth.
