Here recently some friends and I have been running into a problem. Almost all of my friends and I are now level 50. When we group in Manhunt Ranked it auto-places us into a group. It seems that whenever we're matched against other people who aren't 50, which happens more often than not, most of the people will just drop out. Last night we couldn't get into more than about one game an hour and, half the time it was 4 vs 2.

Does anyone else think that maybe they should remove the level of the people you're playing against? Or perhaps a better solution would be a punishment of some sort for leaving a game early. It's really frustrating to not be able to play.

Or maybe I'm just tired and cranky.

Thoughts?

Dear God don't make punishments for leaving a game. Uncharted 2 implemented that sort of thing and it's just about the worst piece of crap invented. Perhaps in ranked matches the levels should be hidden, but I don't see a really big reason why. Level intimidation has always been an inescapable factor in games, AC:B isn't exempt from that. We'll just have to live with it. :/

I don't know if this is happening to anyone else but me but I've noticed that when i play ranked Wanted it shows everyone's level as 0. Now I don't know if this is an error with the latest patch but I really like it. I like not knowing if the people I'm with are lvl 12 or lvl 50 (not that I think your level reflects how good you are, cuz it really doesn't). The only real indicator of level would be what customizations the person has done to their persona. I feel that it made the matches more fun so I would support hiding player levels in Ranked games http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

I too have had players leave because of my level... and have had to wait even longer because people don't want to go up against someone thats too high a level...

I agree, I think that level should be hidden, the level should just effect your abilities and personas, just take the number off the match rooms and scoreboard during game, and then maybe after the game ends you get to see where everyones xp is...

I thought the EXACT SAME THING.

I'm tired of joining games and one person leaves because we are level 50s.

I've never left a game in progress except when it's lagging so bad it's unplayable.

Leaving matches before they start, however, I have done.

But only in Manhunt, and only when there's a team of 4 players at level 45 - 50, and I'm the only player above 40 on the other team. And nobody on our team has a mic.

I've played a Manhunt game when I was level 12, and I was paired up with a couple of level 35ish players and a 40-something, and our opponents were a group of 50s, and the higher-level 2 of our players coordinated for the team and we won.

Was awesome. Some people can't handle the awesomeness of a victory from behind though.
