In EGM there is an article about the upcoming "Lego Halo" pftt...whatever...but anyway, there is a quote in here that I found to be just rediculous so I wanted to ask around here.

Lee Carlton, Senior Project Leader on LH (Lego Halo) said, and I quote, "We really feel like the Halo trilogy is as strong as Star Wars and that's why were excited to take our rich universe and present it in a way everyone can enjoy."

Now, admittadly, I'm not a Halo fan...at all. But I also recognize the HUGE popularity of the series and that I am in the minority in not liking it. But to be honest I am not a Star Wars fan either. But, Star Wars has been around for 31 years, while Halo's first release was November 15, 2001 in North America...about 7 years ago. I mean last week a Star Wars novel was released and knocked the EndWar novel out of the top 5. Even all these years later Star Wars is one of the most popular franchises across the mediums..

...is it just me or does Halo still have some way to go before it can be legitimately compared to Star Wars?

Perhaps the original starwars, but the latest three I dont think really did anything good for the story.

However you are right, Halo has nothing on starwars. At least not yet anyway, lets see if halo is just as strong in 20 years as starwars.

Actually I'm a bit relieved to hear that. I was one of the ones who thought Lego Star Wars was rediculous.

But anyways, my input: Halo > Star Wars. Blasphemy? Maybe. But I really can't see it any other way. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
